For our estimated client, we are looking for an Head of finance.
The candidate will lead the finance function, overseeing all financial operations and shaping the organisation's financial strategy.
This role requires exceptional leadership capabilities, deep expertise in financial management and accounting principles, and a proven track record of guiding teams to achieve organisational objectives within dynamic and fast-paced environments.
Responisibilities:
- Lead and manage the finance and accounting departments, including accounts payable/receivable, general ledger, treasury, and financial planning & analysis.
- Oversee the preparation and analysis of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory standards.
- Ensure full compliance with internal policies, corporate governance standards, and external regulations (GAAP, IFRS, and relevant statutory requirements).
- Coordinate, manage, and support annual audits, liaising with external auditors and stakeholders as needed.
- Develop, implement, and continuously enhance financial and accounting policies, processes, and controls to improve efficiency, mitigate risks, and support business growth.
- Monitor, analyse, and interpret financial data, providing strategic recommendations and insights to senior management and the board.
- Lead the budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning processes, ensuring alignment with organisational goals and objectives
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive accounting experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role
- Experience in industry or manufacturing or retail company
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices
- Proficiency in accounting software
- Full proficiency in English
