Key Responsibilities
- Gather and analyze customer requirements; draft functional specifications
- Support integration of solutions into Avaloq via FAT/integration testing
- Coordinate and support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) phases
- Provide Level 3 support for production incidents
- Review existing architecture and propose technical improvements
- Ensure reliability and availability of production solutions
- Minimum 5 years' experience as an Avaloq Developer/Consultant, with strong banking domain knowledge
- Hands-on experience in Avaloq scripting, parameterization, and L2/L3 support
- Strong troubleshooting, debugging, and problem-solving skills
- Avaloq Certified Professional (ACCP) certification preferred
- Exposure to Credit/Risk/Collateral/Performance modules is an advantage
- Solid understanding of wealth management, investments, and financial products
- Strong SQL and database query skills
- Working knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodology
- Strong analytical thinking, organizational skills, and ability to work autonomously
- Degree in Computer Science (University, HES, Swiss Federal Diploma, EPF) or equivalent

Serve as the primary point of contact for stakeholders across IT, Finance, Treasury, Risk & Compliance, delivering clear and timely communication tailored to audience needs

Prepare and deliver high-quality presentations to steering committees, executive sponsors, and operational teams

Champion smooth transition and sustainable handover of delivered solutions to Operations organisations, supported by adequate documentation and change enablement activities

Apply agile principles and tools effectively, particularly leveraging Jira and Confluence for backlog, task, and knowledge management
Qualifications

Proven track record in managing large-scale IT projects with CtB-budgets >CHF 1m

Familiarity with liquidity risk management frameworks, regulatory reporting, or treasury operations in a financial institution

Demonstrated experience leading global, matrixed projects involving internal and external teams, as well as third-party vendors

Hands-on approach to project execution, with proven ability to independently manage all operational aspects of large-scale IT projects, including regular reporting, budget tracking, financial controlling, resource allocation, and milestone forecasting

Solid command of modern project management toolsets, especially Jira and Confluence

Certified Project Manager (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2, PMI-ACP, or equivalent)

Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills with ability to influence diverse stakeholder groups across cultures and time zones

Senior Full-Stack Java Engineer

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Design, develop, and maintain Spring Boot microservices and libraries addressing logging, security, messaging (Kafka and other MQs), and other cross-cutting concerns
- Apply integration and architectural patterns such as Inbox/Outbox, event-driven processing, and similar patterns to ensure reliable distributed systems
- Build and enhance frontend interfaces using React with TypeScript when required
- Collaborate with business analysts, product owners, and other teams to understand requirements and deliver solutions
- Apply Java design patterns and best practices consistently to ensure maintainable, scalable code
- Analyse complex problems and develop innovative, efficient solutions
- Continuously improve code, processes, and system reliability with a proactive mindset

YOUR PROFILE
- Expert-level Java development with deep experience in Spring Boot and Spring Security

- Knowledge and practical application of Java design patterns
- Familiarity with integration and architectural patterns, including Inbox/Outbox, event-driven design, and other distributed system patterns
- Experience with messaging systems such as Kafka and other MQs
- Experience with databases, particularly Oracle, including query optimisation and integration with Java applications
- Knowledge of Kubernetes, Docker, and Helm for containerised applications is a nice-to-have

For our client, a prestigious international private bank with a strong global presence and a long-standing reputation for excellence, we are looking for an experienced Senior Banking Systems Integration Engineer to join their growing technology team in Zurich.
In this role, you will be at the heart of the bank's digital transformation initiatives, designing and delivering modern integration solutions that support critical banking services and exceptional client experiences.
Your Responsibilities
- Design, develop and maintain scalable services on the Avaloq Container Platform Reference (ACPR/OpenShift)
- Build and enhance integration solutions using the Avaloq Business Event Grid (BEG)
- Contribute to strategic projects involving real-time, bi-directional message streaming with Apache Kafka
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex integration challenges across multiple systems and channels
- Collaborate closely with infrastructure, DevOps and release management teams to ensure seamless delivery from design through production
- Support testing, deployment and rollout activities for new integration services
Your Profile:
- Degree in Computer Science, Business Information Systems or a related field
- At least 5 years of hands-on experience in banking systems integration
- Strong practical experience with Avaloq

- Avaloq Academy Professional Certification (e.g. ACIP) is considered a strong asset
