Duration: 12 months ? with possibility of extension
Key Responsibilities
- Build and improve Power BI dashboards and reports tracking KPIs and business performance
- Develop data models ? relationships, measures, calculated columns
- Monitor and validate data quality; help fix issues at the source
- Document KPI logic, data definitions, and reporting standards
- Partner with business stakeholders to turn requirements into clear reporting specs
- Support troubleshooting, refresh issues, and process automation
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Analytics, Statistics, Engineering, or related field
- Working knowledge of SQL (queries, joins, aggregations)
- Some hands-on experience with a BI tool ? ideally Power BI and/or Strategy (MicroStrategy)
- Strong analytical thinking and attention to detail
- Fluent English, written and verbal ? able to explain data to non-technical audiences
- Self-starter mentality: curious, independent, and collaborative
Nice to Have
- DAX, performance optimization, row-level security (RLS)
- Data warehousing concepts (ETL/ELT, star schemas)
- Python or R for data prep/analysis
- Exposure to insurance/reinsurance data (policies, premiums, claims)
- Additional European languages
