Program Manager ? Health Financing (m/f/d)

Geneva | Contract role - 5 months

The Role

We are seeking an experienced Program Manager to lead a major health financing initiative, ensuring effective delivery, financial oversight, and strategic impact across a complex, multi-stakeholder environment.

This is a senior role combining project management, financial oversight, and strategic coordination within global health and development finance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end programme management, from setup to delivery and closure
  • Oversee financial management, budgeting, and performance tracking of programme funds 
  • Define and implement systems for governance, reporting, and accountability
  • Coordinate with internal teams, partners, and technical providers
  • Manage procurement, sourcing, and contract processes
  • Monitor programme performance, risks, and impact

Your Profile

  • Advanced degree in economics, finance, public health, development, or related field 
  • Strong experience in programme/project management and financial oversight
  • Proven ability to manage complex, multi-stakeholder initiatives
  • Experience in development finance or health financing is essential
  • Excellent analytical, coordination, and communication skills
  • Strong Excel and data analysis capabilities

Your Profile - 1?4 years of experience within a leading strategy consulting firm (e.g., McKinsey, BCG, Bain, Oliver Wyman, Roland Berger, Strategy&, Kearney, or equivalent). - Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, with experience in data analysis, modelling, and business case development. - Excellent PowerPoint and executive communication skills. - Experience supporting strategic, transformation, or organisational change initiatives. - Ability to thrive in fast-paced, international, and multicultural environments. - Strong stakeholder management and coordination skills. - Experience working with international organisations, public sector institutions, or large multinational organisations is an advantage. - Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, Economics, Engineering, Public Policy, or a related field.
