Job description
For one of our Pharma clients based in Visp, we are looking for an Engineer Planner to cover a Lon-term sick leave.
Description:
Role Purpose: To ensure planning and scheduling of engineering maintenance activities is comprehensively delivered to ensure all Facilities, Utilities and Equipment is maintained safely and in compliance with GMP requirements.
Key Accountabilities and Duties: Develop and maintain maintenance & calibration schedules for all plannable maintenance activities on site.
This includes Planned Preventative tasks and unplanned task. Ensure any planned task which is not delivered by the required due date is escalated appropriately. Communicate effectively with customer departments, working closely with the production scheduler to ensure all required FUE is available for maintenance in line with the assigned due dates. Lead the weekly maintenance planning meetings to ensure all issue are captured and communicated resulting in 100% on time delivery. Ensure all planned activities are appropriately resourced. Where necessary arrange external contractors and resources. Ensure all require materials, spares and consumables are procured and assigned appropriately. Develop and issue reports for agreed KPls for maintenance planning and delivery at agreed intervals set by line manager. Ensure the planning and scheduling process is continually reviewed and improved to deliver Lean and compliant maintenance. Perform other duties as assigned.
Education: HND/HNC in appropriate engineering /technical discipline. Experience: A good practical working knowledge of maintenance activities across a variety of equipment ideally within a pharmaceutical/GMP (highly regulated) environment. Knowledge: Good working knowledge of engineering maintenance and how to plan and schedule. Skills: Expert in SAP PM. Qualities & Attitude: Attention to detail, effective team worker, logical decision making, tenacity, Shaper/ Completer. Must haves: We are currently looking for a contingent worker to support our team for a few months. We are seeking someone who is fluent in both English and German and has experience in organizing troubleshooting activities as well as maintenance work. The main focus of the role is liaising with the workshop in the event of a breakdown and coordinating planned maintenance in alignment with production schedules and personnel availability. Ideally, the candidate should have experience working with SAP. Full time onsite for VISP German and English Fluent
