For our estimated client, we are looking for an experienced Production Planner.
The candidate will be responsibe esponsible for creating and maintaining the production plan for IPU production lines, in line with available capacity and material availability.
The role ensures production scheduling meets customer delivery requirements while proactively collaborating with the internal front-end team and supporting monthly production targets.
Main Responsibilities
- Create and maintain production plans for IPU production lines
- Ensure planning activities are aligned with ROTD targets and available capacity
- Evaluate requests coming from Sales and Order Handling teams
- Coordinate with Production Supervisors and Material Planners
- Release production and pre-assembly orders in SAP
- Verify material availability before releasing production orders
- Monitor production order progress and ensure proper lifecycle closure
- Identify and resolve discrepancies related to materials, COGI errors, and order closures
- Update the production plan on a weekly basis
- Communicate planning deviations or impacts to the Order Handling team
- Support monthly inventory checks and analysis
- Ensure compliance with ABB code of conduct, company standards, HSE policies, and internal procedures
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders and support team objectives
Requirements
- Previous experience in a similar role (2?5 years)
- Italian language mandatory
- SAP knowledge
- Production planning and material management experience
- Analytical mindset and problem-solving skills
- Bachelor's or Master's degree
- English proficiency
