Finders is currently looking on behalf of our client for a Senior Actuary Life Expert (m/f/d)
Location: Adliswil, Zurich
Workload: 80–100%

Role & Responsibilities

Your responsibilities:
• Contribute to the development of new life insurance tariffs and support implementation into systems
• Develop actuarial and financial calculation principles for valuation and pricing
• Analyze products and identify optimization opportunities for portfolio management
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on strategic transformation projects
• Develop pragmatic and future-oriented actuarial solutions

Candidate Profile

What we are looking for:
• University degree in Mathematics or another quantitative field
• Additional qualification as Actuary SAV/DAV
• 5–10 years of experience within Life Insurance
• Strong knowledge of individual life insurance products
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
• Fluent German and English

Junior Underwriter – Non-Life (Specialty Risks)

Description of the company We are supporting a well-established and internationally active insurance player with a strong reputation in specialty lines. As part of their continued growth, they are looking to strengthen their underwriting team with a Junior Underwriter. This position offers exposure to complex and niche risk segments, within a collaborative and technically strong environment. You will work closely with experienced underwriters and contribute to the development of the portfolio across multiple markets. Role & Responsibilities - Support underwriting activities across a defined portfolio of non-life risks - Assist in risk assessment, pricing and policy structuring - Analyse data and contribute to underwriting decisions - Collaborate with internal stakeholders (actuarial, claims, finance) - Monitor portfolio performance and support reporting activities - Contribute to the continuous improvement of underwriting tools and processesCandidate Profile - 2–4 years' experience in insurance, reinsurance or financial services - Exposure to underwriting, actuarial, or analytical functions is a strong plus - Strong analytical mindset and attention to detail - Interest in specialty / technical lines - Ability to work in an international and fast-paced environment - Fluent in English & Good command of German (additional languages are a plus) If this opportunity sparks your interest, I'd be delighted to tell you more and walk you through the role and its environment.
