For one of our Pharmaceutical clients in Rotkreuz, Zug, we are recruiting for a Senior Embedded Instrument Control SW Tester.
You will act as a guardian of our clients instrument's quality, ensuring that the interplay between embedded software and hardware is seamless, robust, and reliable for our customers.
Tasks & Responsibilities:
? Creative Test Evolution: Instead of just following a script, you will design and develop thoughtful test scenarios that explore the system's resilience, helping us identify and resolve potential weaknesses long before they reach the field.
? Transforming Data into Insight: You will listen to what the instruments are telling us by analyzing logs and results, turning raw data into meaningful improvements that enhance our diagnostic capabilities and long-term supportability.
? Collaborative Problem-Solving: You will own the journey of an issue from discovery to resolution, working closely with cross-functional teams to verify that our solutions are as elegant as they are effective.
? Bridge-Building across R&D: You will serve as a key technical partner between different development teams and production, using your deep system knowledge to provide clarity and support during complex troubleshooting phases.
? Empowered Ownership of Quality: You will take pride in delivering validated, high-quality work packages, ensuring a smooth and confident transition of designs to our global partners in Service and Operations.
Must Haves:
? A degree (BSc/MSc) in Electrical, Mechanical, or Software Engineering
? Min. 5-7+ years of experience in testing in agile environments, specifically where software meets hardware.
? Proficient with Linux and have a strong foundation in test automation. While ISTQB certification is a plus, your ability to think systematically is what matters most.
? A curious investigator who enjoys learning how things work under the hood. You communicate with empathy and clarity, ensuring that technical findings lead to collaborative fixes
? Fluency in English is required; German is a great advantage for local collabo

Tasks & Responsibilities:
● Quality Assurance for High-Tech: Development and implementation of automated test strategies for a complex overall system in molecular diagnostics.
● BDD Methodology: Active application of Behavior-Driven Development to translate requirements into executable specifications (e.g., using Cucumber).
● Development of Test Environments: Construction and maintenance of test frameworks using tools similar to Selenium, Appium, or SpecFlow, supplemented by specific libraries for controlling laboratory robots.
● Robotics Integration: Evaluation and integration of commercial robot arms (e.g., Cobots) as well as participation in the development of internal robotics tools to simulate user interactions on the device (e.g., pipetting, loading cartridges).
● ALM & Traceability: Use of ALM tools such as Codebeamer to manage requirements and test cases and to ensure traceability.
● CI/CD Integration: Responsibility for automated quality assurance within our DevOps pipelines (e.g., GitHub and Azure DevOps (ADO)).
● End-to-End Validation: Ensuring data integrity from the barcode scan of the patient sample to the final analysis of the PCR result.
● Compliance & Documentation: Supporting the creation of test plans, protocols, and reports in accordance with ISO 13485 and other relevant regulatory standards for medical devices.

Analyste QC (Contrôle Qualité)
Description du poste :
Le travail consiste à réaliser les activités d'analyses et de prélèvement dans le cadre de la construction d'un nouveau bâtiment de production.
Après une période de formation dense, les taches demandées devront se dérouler dans le stricte respect des procédures/GMP en vigueur au laboratoire de controle et des consignes de sécurité en lien avec les activités du département Contrôle Qualité. Responsabilités principales :
? Réaliser des analyses ou des approbations d'analyses au laboratoire QC selon les procédures et normes applicables, par exemple, les cGMPs et les pharmacopées en fonction des priorités de planification.
? Respecter l'ensemble des règles décrites dans les SOP en application dans le laboratoire
? Exécuter les activités du laboratoire avec la SOP en vigueur ouverte.
? Renseigner les divers formulaires, logbooks et documents en respectant les Bonnes Pratiques de Fabrication et de Documentation + le(s) système(s) de gestion des résultats
? Prévenir le Superviseur/délégué/Expert en cas de résultats non conformes et/ou invalides le jour même par oral et/ou écrit et initier l'évènement dans le système qualité dans les délais impartis.
? Respecter et appliquer les règles EHS. S'il constate des écarts à ces règles de la part de collègues ou intervenants externes, il assure également un rôle actif en rappelant aux personnes concernées l'application des règles EHS. Le collaborateur est également tenu d'ouvrir les événements EHS dans les délais impartis.
? Signaler à la personne responsable du planning et au superviseur/délégué toute déviation par rapport au planning de façon proactive
