We are looking for a Project Engineer for our Pharma client based in Visp.
Description:
Role Description
The Project Engineer develops concepts and advises ?customers? on decision-making and carries out the detailed engineering plan, applies for the necessary funds and manages the execution of the work. The Project Engineer is responsible for the costs, deadlines and functionality of the project.
Technical project management:
(Project Lead -60%)
? In planning and realization of small and middle-sized investment projects with direct impact on current production and/or business results.
? In process engineering calculations and plant optimizations
? In feasibility studies of new plants and/or rebuilds of existing plants including cost estimation, scheduling and functionality
? In the planning, realization and support of production adjustments and product launches
(Concept Development 20%)
? Elaboration of possible technical solutions with evaluation of advantages and disadvantages
(Team Coordination/ resource management 10%)
? Procurement and organization of the necessary resources (internal or external) for the professional and timely execution of a project
(Optimization of the processes and transfer of know-how 10%)
? Optimization of process flows and solution implementation
Education:
Technical Diploma or Bachelors Degree (Masters Preferred) preferably in mechanical engineering, process technology, Bio or chemical engineering
Skills:
-Application and incorporation of professional knowledge in day to day
-Excellent communication skills
-Highly independent and structured
-Advanced written and spoken English and German
-Innovative thinking
-Excellent leadership skills in a matrix organization

Utility Operator

Für einen unserer Pharmakunden mit Sitz in Visp suchen wir einen Utility Operator.
Description:
Überwachung der Anlagen (DeltaV und Rundgänge) von Reinst- und Schwarzmedien, Prozessgasen sowie HVAC, sicherstellen, dass diese laufend regelkonform zur Verfügung stehen
- Kontaktperson für den Betrieb bei Alarmen in der Anlage im Zusammenhang mit Reinst- und Schwarzmedien, Prozessgasen sowie HVAC
- Erfasst Störmeldungen (M2) in seinem Arbeitsbereich
- Unterstützt Fremdfirmen bei Arbeiten in ihrem Bereich und erstellt in Ausnahmefällen die Arbeitsbewilligungen (nach einer expliziten Schulung) mit Einweisung vor Ort
- Unterstützt ausserhalb der regulären Bürozeiten die Logistik und deren Aufgaben
- Führt Containerwechsel in der Containerstation aus

Manufacturing Technician

Overview:
The Manufacturing Technician provides operational, technical, and logistical support across USP, DSP, and IPC areas. The role includes calibration activities, material readiness, equipment handling, sample management, and execution of GMP-compliant tasks to ensure safe, efficient, and robust manufacturing operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Equipment & Process Support:
- Perform daily calibration of equipment used in IPC and DSP, including preparation and use of WFI
- Conduct Single Use Assembly checks
- Execute column buffer exchange activities
- Perform harvest filter deinstallation according to established procedures
- Operate autoclaves (loading, cycle execution, unloading of sterilized materials) Material & Chemical Management:
- Complete material checklists to ensure availability of required consumables
- Notify Bioprocess Engineers of missing chemicals or discrepancies
- Conduct ethanol aliquotation in compliance with GMP and safety requirements
- Support dispensing activities as required Operational & Environmental Support:
- Perform cleaning tasks in inoculation areas and production rooms in line with GMP standards
- Execute buffer drainage activities in coordination with DSP teams
- Deliver samples to QC, IPC, and other designated areas
- Apply 6S principles to maintain clean, organized, and audit-ready workspaces Documentation & Compliance:
- Complete accurate GMP documentation for all performed tasks
- Follow safety, quality, and environmental procedures
- Participate in investigations, CAPAs, and continuous improvement initiatives
- Coordinate with Manufacturing, QA, QC, and BPE teams Training & Development Opportunities:
USP Operations:
- Bioreactor setup, monitoring, and breakdown
- Media preparation (weighing, mixing, transfer)
- Inoculation support and room cleaning DSP Operations:
- Chromatography column preparation and buffer exchange
- UF/DF setup, filter installation, and buffer handling

- Safe chemical handling (including ethanol aliquotation) Qualifications & Requirements:
Minimum Qualifications:
- Completed apprenticeship, technical diploma, or equivalent in:
- Chemical Engineering
- Biotechnology
- Laboratory Technology
- Pharmaceutical / Production Technology
- Strong understanding of GMP and cleanroom operations
- Ability to read and follow SOPs, batch records, and technical instructions in English Preferred Qualifications:
- Technical or vocational training in bioprocessing or pharmaceutical production
- Knowledge of analytical equipment and calibration routines Experience:
- 1?3 years in pharmaceutical, biotech, or chemical manufacturing (USP/DSP preferred)
- Experience in cleanroom environments (Grade C/D or higher)
- Hands-on experience with one or more of the following:
- Bioreactors (single-use or stainless steel)
- Media / buffer preparation
- Chromatography systems
- UF/DF processes
- Autoclave / sterilization
- Experience with GMP documentation, batch execution, and deviation handling is an advantage Languages:
- Fluent English or German (both is a plus)
