Project context

For a demanding telecommunications environment in the field of data and IP services, an experienced Customer Location Manager is being sought. The team is responsible for the end-to-end delivery process and works in a lean-agile setup with a strong focus on quality, efficiency, and customer satisfaction.

Your tasks

• Conception, planning and implementation of technical customer solutions at various locations
• Independent management and handling of complex customer projects
• Advising customers on technical requirements and developing tailor-made solutions
• Interface function between internal teams, customers and external partners
• Carrying out site visits as well as maintaining and expanding customer relationships
• Order processing including inventory, design and ordering of equipment
• Support for rollouts, conversions, migrations and phase-out projects

Your profile

Must-have Skills

• Completed technical training (EFZ) in the field of ICT system and network technology, telematics, electronics or comparable qualification
• In-depth knowledge of access network technologies (FTTx)
• Experience in the planning and implementation of telecommunications solutions
• Know-how in optical transport networks and network architectures (Layers 1–3)
• Strong cost, quality and deadline orientation
• Very good written and spoken German skills

Nice-to-have Skills

• Good knowledge of French and/or English
• Experience in the telecommunications industry
• Strong communication skills and the ability to convey complex content in an understandable way
• Independent, structured and solution-oriented way of working
• Analytical thinking skills and a high level of personal responsibility
• Ability to work in a team and experience in dealing with various stakeholders
• Assertiveness and negotiation skills
