Position:

The senior Avaloq Developer is a software engineer with profound know-how of all relevant technological aspects of the Avaloq stack (Avaloq Script, PL/SQL, Oracle SQL, Task Engine, Report Writer, Object Model, Transactional Model, Booking Engine)

He provides his expertise to the Trade & Transaction reporting unit within the broader Avaloq Regulatory team.

Responsabilities:

  • Maintain existing Trade and Transaction reporting solutions
  • Develop new functionalities or changes to existing functionalities in Trade and Transaction reporting
  • Implement small to medium sized projects with colleagues from the Trade and Transaction reporting unit
  • Challenge and re-think existing solutions (architecture)
  • Be an integral part of the broader Avaloq Regulatory team, also assisting in other expert fields


Profile:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in computer science, software engineering or related discipline
  • Strong software development knowledge in Avaloq and ACP (Avaloq Certified Professional)
  • Understanding of banking and finance
  • Willingness to take responsibility proactively across the whole development lifecycle
  • Ability to work independently, in a team and with various stakeholders
  • Business fluent in English

As Risk Officer, you will essentially be key in contributing to the maintenance of a solid risk framework and the constant improvement thereof. an already solid risk framework. This includes the management and control of risks and regulatory requirements on fund management company as well as Swiss Fund level. Integrating risk aspects into decision making plays an important role, e.g. with regard to the selection and maintenance of strong relationships with business partners.
