Client:

Well-established private bank with small but busy Geneva office of over 20 years standing (fully regulated Swiss subsidiary). A strong share-holder behind and a vibrant and dynamic place to work. They offer traditional private banking services to its clients primarily from the Levant and Gulf regions. Excellent working environment for someone used to a small structure, in a broad role and with a polyvalent nature. 

Position:

A position and company that Finders know intimately since the last 10 years, thus able to explain very well the culture and working environment to any potential, suitable applicant, to ensure a good match.

Working in a broad role, you will be one of the more senior members of this small team of 3, in this relatively flat structure.   This hands-on role is for an experienced operations/back office generalist who is dynamic and rigorous.

Typical tasks, but not limited to:

·      Corporate Actions

·      Stock Exchange orders

·      Settlements

·      Central database input

·      Client account-opening/onboarding from a back office stand point (working closely with the Compliance

Officer + Front Office)

·      FX transactions

·      Credit Lombard operations/administration (loans + borrowing)

·      Cash desk/cash withdrawals + treasury

·      Booking of the trades (including complex derivatives)

·      Transfers + Fiduciary Deposits/Fiduciary Investments Back Office Management

·      Regulation of Accounts

·      Securities, cash reconciliations and investigations

Profile:

·      Proven expertise in Back Office/Operations ? minimum 6 years++ of experience

·      CFC, Bachelor's Degree or equivalent

·      Swiss private banking experience essential (as you must know the Settlement and Corporate Actions

part)

·      A dynamic, driven person with good interpersonal skills, comfortable in a broad role, small structure

·      Excellent attention to detail and management of priorities

·      Able to multi-task and be an autonomous team player who is rigorous

·      Precision, reliability and flexibility

·      Comfortable with IT and familiar with banking systems + office automation tools

·      Fluent in French and fluent English - both a must

·      Able to commit to a full-time role (office hours 08.30-18.00 (daily, no home office)

·      Able to start ASAP for this permanent contract (those on a notice period of course also considered)

·      Already living and working in the Geneva area (frontalier OK)

For the Europe (and Asia) distribution, as an experienced investment information writer, this is a broad role across all asset classes within the asset management space (covering both the institutional and wholesale sales channels). As a subject matter expert, you will be part of a dynamic busy team across Geneva, London and Asia. Essentially, this full-time role is responsible for creating an accurate presentation of the company's investment strategies. Responsibilities to include, but not limited to: - Gather and develop written content and information to complete responses to requests for information (RFI), due diligence requests (DDQs) and requests for proposals (RFP) - serve as subject matter expert - Identify opportunities to improve content for use globally, streamline processes and participate in and lead RFP and departmental projects - Use and interpret information and statistical data to best respond to complex requests - Partner with less experienced associates to review in-coming requests and requirements, coordinate feedback and input from various departments and provide leadership and direction on various aspects of their written responses - Monitor in-coming requests as well as proactive response to requests - Problem-solving more complex issues as needed - Coordinates and facilitate RFP kick-off calls to review request requirements and understand client needs - fostering relationships internally and externally - Partner with Sales teams to formalize strategy on response to complex requests, as well as partnering with internal groups such as Sales/Distribution teams, Accounting, Global Investment Control, and Marketing Communications - Keeping abreast of internal product launches and strategy developments - Collaborate with project teams, investment specialists and other internal associates on new product initiatives and ad-hoc inquiries to develop content for use in RFIs and RFPs - Participate in the training of other associates and identify training needs, as well as recommend enhancements to training plans as needed - Collaborate with the team manager to recommend departmental improvements Profile: - Bachelors Degree - Economics, Business, Finance or equivalent - Proven RFP production experience - minimum 4 years+ - CFA a plus but by no means a must - "Fluent" in asset classes and able to project manage each RFP assignment and understand the process - Strong knowledge of investment strategies and general portfolio statistics and ability to analyze data and information - Able to craft proposals with excellent writing skills - either as an RFP writer, sales support, investment analysis, editorial profile or equivalent - Drive for results, used to working at a fast pace with a high volume of work - Able to balance stakeholder needs and requirements - A driven, dynamic team player who is also low-key and discrete, with humility - Strong attention to detail and organizational skills, able to work independently - Fluent/bi-lingual English; French a plus but not a must "I can lead a full life."
