Role & Responsibilities Position: Within the investment division, this role plays a central part in shaping and articulating the group's investment identity. Acting as the key interface between the strategic thinking of the investment teams and internal and external audiences, the successful candidate translates the convictions of senior investment leadership and specialists into clear, authoritative and editorially rigorous content. As part of the Investment Marketing team, this investment content and editorial specialist role is responsible for ensuring the consistency, quality and impact of investment communications designed for a private wealth management audience. This includes both internal stakeholders and external clients, with all output produced in line with institutional standards and regulatory requirements of the financial industry. Key Responsibilities: Editorial writing & publication output - Write, edit and curate a broad range of investment publications, including market commentaries, House Views, market outlooks, Flash Notes, thematic pieces and longer-form investment articles - Translate investment convictions and portfolio positioning into clear, structured and editorially refined narratives for a private wealth audience - Ensure all written content meets high standards of clarity, consistency and readability, while remaining technically accurate and market-relevant - Develop and maintain a coherent and distinctive editorial voice across all investment communications Investment messaging, editorial coordination & investment identity - Work closely with senior investment leadership, including CIO-level inputs and asset allocation teams, to shape and refine core investment messaging - Coordinate inputs from economists, strategists and analysts, synthesising diverse viewpoints into cohesive written publications - Ensure alignment between internal investment thinking and external-facing editorial output - Produce timely, insight-driven commentary on macroeconomic, geopolitical and market developments, highlighting implications for portfolios and clients - Contribute to shaping and reinforcing the group's investment identity through a distinctive editorial positioning, proposing formats, angles and narratives that enhance the visibility and credibility of the investment strategy across internal and external audiences Research and market monitoring - Monitor financial markets, macroeconomic trends, geopolitical developments and peer publications to inform scheduled and reactive editorial content - Identify relevant market and thematic developments to support timely editorial coverage and investment communication - Ensure continuous awareness of external commentary and market narratives to maintain relevance and differentiation Editorial standards and quality assurance - Ensure accuracy, relevance and compliance of all published material in line with institutional standards and regulatory requirements - Oversee publication workflows and editorial timelines across recurring and ad hoc outputs - Maintain consistency of tone, structure and messaging across all investment publications Why Apply: This role offers a rare combination of intellectual proximity to investment decision-making and ownership of how those ideas are communicated externally. Candidate Profile Profile: - Degree in Journalism, Economics, Finance, Political Science, or a related field - At least 5+ years' experience in financial journalism, editorial writing, or investment/content marketing, ideally within private banking, wealth management, or family office environments - Investment writing experience gained within private banking, wealth/asset management, family offices, or specialist financial media serving high-net-worth clients - Proven experience in investment marketing content (or equivalent), with the ability to translate complex concepts into clear, structured, and compelling narratives for sophisticated private clients - Background in financial journalism or editorial work, ideally with exposure to private wealth or high-net-worth audiences - Excellent understanding of financial markets, asset classes, macroeconomics, and portfolio dynamics - Strong editorial judgment with an institutional tone, capable of working with daily inputs from CIO and investment teams to develop high-quality, value-added content - Experience engaging with senior investment professionals and acting as a trusted thought partner in shaping investment narratives - Agile and resourceful, able to prioritise effectively and deliver high-quality output under tight deadlines and pressure - Exceptional written communication skills, with the ability to produce publication-ready content in English; French is a strong plus - Based in Switzerland (or open to relocating to the Geneva area); candidates must be eligible to work in Switzerland
