| Technical Product Owner – Kubernetes Platform Location: Switzerland, Zurich Working Model: Hybrid Language: Fluent English + German Start: 01/09/2026 End: 30/06/2027 We are looking for a Technical Product Owner – Kubernetes Platform to take end-to-end ownership of a managed Kubernetes platform. You will be responsible for shaping the platform vision and roadmap, managing the product backlog, coordinating releases and ensuring the platform continuously delivers a high-quality, secure and reliable service. You will work closely with DevOps engineers, architects, product management, internal stakeholders and B2B customers, acting as the key link between business requirements and technical implementation. This is a highly technical Product Owner role, requiring a strong understanding of Kubernetes, cloud technologies, container platforms, GitOps and platform operations. Key Responsibilities - Take end-to-end product ownership of the managed Kubernetes platform, from vision and roadmap through to operations and continuous optimization. - Define, prioritize and maintain the product backlog in close collaboration with DevOps, engineering and product management teams. - Develop and communicate the platform roadmap, ensuring alignment with business objectives and customer requirements. - Work closely with internal stakeholders, B2B customers and other Product Owners to understand requirements and deliver measurable value. - Ensure high standards of availability, stability, scalability, security and service quality across the Kubernetes platform. - Drive automation and continuous improvement across platform services and operational processes. - Act as the bridge between technology, business requirements and operational excellence. - Participate in technical discussions with engineering teams and provide input into architecture and technology decisions. - Coordinate platform releases, changes, upgrades and deployments. - Manage change communication and ensure customers and stakeholders are informed about relevant platform developments. - Identify opportunities for new technologies, services and improvements to enhance the platform offering. - Support incident, problem and service management discussions where required. - Ensure priorities are clearly defined and communicated across technical and business teams. Required Experience & Skills - Proven experience as a Product Owner, Technical Product Owner, Service Owner or similar role within a technical environment. - Strong understanding of Kubernetes, cloud and container technologies. - Good knowledge of GitOps principles and modern platform engineering practices. - Experience working with agile methodologies such as Scrum, Kanban, SAFe or similar. - Ability to quickly understand complex technical environments and take ownership of new products or platforms. - Strong ability to combine strategic and conceptual thinking with technical understanding. - Comfortable engaging directly with engineers and participating in technical and architectural discussions. - Excellent stakeholder management, communication and coordination skills. - Strong ability to prioritise requirements and make decisions in complex environments. - Strategic mindset with a high degree of personal ownership and responsibility. | About the Role We are seeking a Junior Laboratory Technician/Technologist with an electrical background to support critical testing for the Nomex® and Kevlar® product lines. This position will primarily support the Electric Solutions and Defense segments and will strengthen our technical support team. This involves close collaboration with engineers and customers to develop and validate test procedures for various applications. Key Responsibilities Perform under minimum supervision complex technical operations and/or tests to provide samples and/or data, solve technical problems and support development programs. - Electric Solutions Support (50%) - Perform electrical testing of insulating materials: papers, polymer fibers, fabrics and composites based on Nomex® - Perform mechanical testing on papers, polymer fibers, fabrics and composites based on Nomex® - Sample preparation - Set, adjust and operate technical equipment SAFELY and/or testing instruments, record and verify results. - Suggest improvements in test procedures. - Self-train in new test methods. - Assist supervisor or engineer to prepare work programs. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and update equipment for standard and non-standard tests related to specific customer programs. - Coordinate and execute work requests and independently write reports. - Manage lab infrastructures: Responsible for equipment (set-up, maintenance, procedures, safety) - Comply with safety guidelines, business ethics and internal control processes - Defense Support (50%) - Sample preparation (operating multiple types of equipment: manual and automatic cutting machines, sewing and welding machines, and hydraulic presses) - Assist with and perform ballistic testing on fabrics and composite panels - Organize sample shipments (prepare samples, package them, coordinate with the logistics team, and update the database/stock records) - Follow work requests and communicate results to engineers - Adapt testing conditions, develop new tests, or establish new testing methods - Manage laboratory infrastructure: responsible for equipment setup, maintenance, procedures, and safety Qualifications - Degree, CFC, or Bac+2 in a relevant technical field (electrical background is recommended) - Previous experience in electrical machines industry, or high voltage testing of insulation materials would be an advantage - Experience in laboratory safety procedures - Hands-on skills - Analytical and problem-solving skills - Rigorous, organized, and safety-conscious - Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint) - Excellent interpersonal and communication skills - Collaborative mindset in work with other technicians, engineers locally and globally. - Independent and proactive with minimal supervision - Fluent in French and able to communicate effectively in English, particularly in technical contexts If you are interested, you can apply directly by submitting your CV, qualifications, employment references, etc. |
