The Basel team is now looking to strengthen its External Asset Manager business with an experienced relationship professional.   Finders has worked with this client for many years and can provide candidates with a good understanding of the culture, team and working environment. Position: Based in Basel - a delightful part of Switzerland - this is a Client Relationship Manager position for the External Asset Manager segment.  You will be joining a busy team and responsible for managing and developing the existing portfolio of EAM relationships (global client base). You will act as a key point of contact for clients, ensuring a high level of service while identifying opportunities to deepen existing relationships and generate new business.  This is a hands-on relationship role combining client management, business development and coordination with internal teams. You will work closely with the EAMs to understand their needs and provide appropriate banking, investment and operational solutions. Key Responsibilities: - Manage and develop existing EAM relationships, while identifying opportunities for new business - Build trusted, long-term relationships with external asset managers and their clients - Understand client requirements and coordinate appropriate banking and investment solutions - Promote the Bank’s products and services and contribute to business development initiatives - Prepare and participate in client meetings, events and presentations - Act as a key contact for day-to-day client enquiries and requests - Coordinate and monitor client instructions, including payments, securities transactions and changes to static data - Work closely with internal teams to ensure efficient and timely execution of client requirements - Monitor credit lines, investment maturities and other relevant client matters - Ensure activities are carried out in line with applicable internal policies and regulatory requirements, including AML, FATCA and MiFID - Follow up on administrative and operational matters to ensure a high level of client service Why Apply? The position would suit someone who enjoys being close to clients, working across different teams and building relationships over the long term.   Candidate Profile - University degree in Finance, Economics or a related discipline, - Around 5–10 years' relevant experience within Private Banking or Financial Services, ideally with exposure to External Asset Managers - Swiss private banking experience is highly desirable, but not essential - Strong understanding of private banking products, services and client processes, combined with a client-focused approach and excellent communication and relationship-building skills - Commercial mindset with the confidence to identify and develop business opportunities - Well organised and able to prioritise effectively, manage multiple matters and work under pressure - A hands-on, "get things done" mindset, with the initiative and flexibility to take ownership and find practical solutions - Strong sense of responsibility, integrity and attention to detail, with the ability to work effectively with a range of internal and external stakeholders - Excellent Microsoft Office skills; experience with Avaloq would be an advantage - Fluent German and English; additional languages would be an advantage - Swiss work permit eligibility required; cross-border candidates are welcome.
