Our client is a well-established industrial company specialising in high-precision machine tools. Due to continued growth, they are looking to recruit a Diagnostic Engineer to join their technical support team in Biel. This is an excellent opportunity for a technically minded professional with strong CNC troubleshooting experience who enjoys solving complex technical issues and supporting customers. Key Responsibilities - Diagnose and resolve technical issues on CNC milling machines. - Provide technical support to customers via phone, email and remote support tools. - Analyse electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic and CNC-related faults. - Interpret electrical schematics to identify and resolve machine issues. - Collaborate with internal technical teams to ensure efficient problem resolution. - Document interventions and technical findings using SAP and internal systems. - Deliver a high level of customer service while ensuring timely issue resolution.Your Profile Essential requirements: - Proven experience with Heidenhain 530, 620 or 640 and/or Siemens CNC control systems. - Strong knowledge of pneumatic and hydraulic systems. - Electrical knowledge, including the ability to read and understand electrical schematics. - Basic mechanical knowledge, particularly relating to machine construction and drive systems. - Experience providing technical support to customers. - Good working knowledge of SAP and Microsoft Office 365. - Fluent German (mandatory).
