​ Join a Dynamic Manufacturing Environment and Drive Quality Excellence For our client, we are looking for a Quality Assurance Officer to play a key role in maintaining and continuously improving quality standards within a manufacturing environment. This position offers the opportunity to work closely with Supply Chain and Maintenance teams, ensuring compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) while fostering a strong quality culture across the organization. ​ Key Responsibilities Promote GMP best practices and quality standards throughout the organization by: - Ensuring compliance with GMP requirements on the production floor - Delivering GMP training and coaching employees to develop the right quality mindset - Acting as the Quality Assurance representative for validation of maintenance work initiation and closure - Managing and coordinating quality complaints, deviations, and non-conformities Quality Systems & Continuous Improvement - Facilitate, manage, audit and improve site GMP compliance levels - Lead quality improvement projects and cross-functional workgroups - Perform and review risk assessments - Conduct root cause investigations and support sustainable corrective actions - Promote a culture of operational excellence and continuous improvement CAPA Management - Monitor corrective and preventive action (CAPA) plans resulting from audits, inspections, deviations, and risk assessments - Verify the effectiveness of implemented actions and ensure timely closure Internal Audits & Change Management - Coordinate internal audit and change management programs - Support and train new team members and stakeholders - Ensure continuity, compliance, and effectiveness of quality systems - Lead internal audits and contribute to ongoing quality system improvements Requirements and skills: - University degree in Chemistry, Analytical Chemistry, Food Science, Life Sciences, or a related scientific field - Minimum 3 years of experience in a Quality Assurance role within a manufacturing environment - Strong knowledge of Quality Management Systems - Proven experience in GMP-regulated environments - Strong understanding of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) - Experience conducting internal audits, ideally as a Lead Auditor - Knowledge of Quality Management Systems such as ISO 9001, Halal, Kosher, and continuous improvement methodologies - Green Belt certification or equivalent continuous improvement experience would be an advantage - Proficiency with Microsoft Office and computerized management systems - Fluent French - Excellent written and verbal English - Proactive, driven, and results-oriented - Tenacious and resilient when facing challenges - Comfortable making difficult decisions when required - An excellent communicator with strong influencing skills - Capable of building effective relationships across all levels of an organization - Adaptable, collaborative, and solutions-focused - Passionate about continuous improvement and quality excellence ​ What You'll Bring You will thrive in this role if you enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, collaborating with multiple stakeholders, and acting as a true quality champion. This is effectively a CFO/COO/CRO-type position within a reputable FINMA-regulated institution, combining finance, operations, treasury, and risk oversight in one broad and varied remit. The role is responsible for ensuring the smooth running of accounting, operational, treasury, and risk management processes, while supervising a team of four people in total, including operations and accounting staff. The team's primary focus is financial controlling, reporting, and accounting, with additional responsibility for treasury and risk management matters.   Working very closely with the CEO, this executive position plays a central role in overseeing financial operations, compliance, back office activities, and risk management across the business. The role requires full-time presence in the Geneva office; remote working is not available.
