Senior Banking Systems Integration Engineer (Avaloq Experience)
Location: Zurich, Switzerland
Employment Type: Permanent | 100%

For our client, a prestigious international private bank with a strong global presence and a long-standing reputation for excellence, we are looking for an experienced Senior Banking Systems Integration Engineer to join their growing technology team in Zurich.

In this role, you will be at the heart of the bank‘s digital transformation initiatives, designing and delivering modern integration solutions that support critical banking services and exceptional client experiences.


Your Responsibilities

  • Design, develop and maintain scalable services on the Avaloq Container Platform Reference (ACPR/OpenShift)
  • Build and enhance integration solutions using the Avaloq Business Event Grid (BEG)
  • Contribute to strategic projects involving real-time, bi-directional message streaming with Apache Kafka
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex integration challenges across multiple systems and channels
  • Collaborate closely with infrastructure, DevOps and release management teams to ensure seamless delivery from design through production
  • Support testing, deployment and rollout activities for new integration services

Your Profile:

  • Degree in Computer Science, Business Information Systems or a related field
  • At least 5 years of hands-on experience in banking systems integration
  • Strong practical experience with Avaloq
  • Experience with OpenShift, OpenAPI, Apache Kafka, and ideally .NET
  • Avaloq Academy Professional Certification ( ACIP) is considered a strong asset
  • Analytical mindset with excellent problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize effectively in a dynamic environment
  • Fluent English; additional languages are an advantage
