For our client, Jabil Switzerland Manufacturing GmbH, we are looking for temporary staff, such as:

Chemical Engineer

Your responsibilities will include:

• Develops manufacturing methods, labor utilization standards, and cost analysis systems to promote efficient staff and facility utilization.
• Studies operations sequence, material flow, functional statements, organization charts, and project information to determine worker functions and responsibilities.
• Formulates complex sampling procedures and designs special or ad-hoc forms and instructions for nonstandard recording, evaluating, and reporting.
• Applies advanced statistical methods and performs mathematical calculations to determine manufacturing processes, staff requirements, and production standards.
• Applies verbal and written communication skills in periodic and special reports and presentations both internally and with customers.
• Performs analytical problem-solving and utilizes structured decision-making skills.

Your profile:

• Engineering degree or diploma in a technical matter: mechanical engineering, Chemistry, or Automation.

• Knowledge in Surface treatments such as Anodizing, Electropolish, Tumbling, Blasting is a plus.

• Ability to utilize oral communication, presentation, and technical writing skills to accomplish departmental goals and objectives.

• Ability to work with a multi-skilled team.

• Fluent in communication in Italian and English, German is preferred.

• Using MS Office, SAP, Agile and Windchill is a plus.

The role is based in Mezzovico Ticino (CH) and will last for 8 months.
