We are recruiting a Data Operations Assistant for a direct hiring within an international client operating in a highly structured and excellent professional environment. The contract is full-time, for a duration of 12 months, with strong potential for permanent placement. The role is based in Lugano.
The selected candidate will be responsible for maintaining high-quality data within a CRM system. This includes reviewing existing records, identifying and correcting inaccuracies, updating incomplete or outdated information, and resolving duplicate entries.
The role requires a highly structured and detail-oriented approach, as it involves repetitive but essential data validation tasks. The ability to compare datasets, detect inconsistencies, and apply accurate corrections according to defined rules and processes is essential.
Organisational context
The role sits within a membership and customer services environment that manages large volumes of user data and supports both administrative and operational processes. The team includes membership and registration functions, supported by a shared service structure. The position is primarily within the membership area, with exposure to adjacent operational workflows.
Purpose of the role
The main responsibility is to clean, update, and standardise contact and account data within a Salesforce CRM system, working from predefined lists and internal data requests.
Key responsibilities
- Reviewing and validating CRM account and contact records
- Identifying and completing missing or inconsistent information
- Reconciling discrepancies across multiple datasets
- Updating and maintaining accurate records in the system
- Removing duplicate entries using CRM tools
- Merging overlapping or duplicated profiles
Education and experience
- Secondary school diploma or university degree
- Previous experience in administrative, customer service, or data-related roles
- Experience in data cleaning or data management is considered an advantage
Technical skills
- Proficiency with standard office tools (spreadsheets, databases, file systems)
- Strong focus on data accuracy and consistency
- Ability to compare and cross-check information across datasets
- Basic analytical skills to identify patterns and discrepancies
Personal competencies
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to sustain focus on repetitive and structured tasks
- Logical and analytical thinking when handling data
- Good time management and ability to meet deadlines
Languages
- English and Italian required
- Additional languages are an advantage
