For one of our clients in Zurich we are looking for a Security Engineer.

Start: ASAP

Location: Zurich – Full time onsite.

In this diverse role, you will work together with the team to take responsibility for the engineering, implementation, operation, support, and maintenance of new IT security solutions, as well as for the optimisation and upkeep of the existing security infrastructure (firewalls).

You will analyse and resolve incidents in high-availability ISP and cloud environments.

In addition, the planning and implementation of network and service expansions in the areas of IP, MPLS, and switching backbone, LAN/WAN, and networkingwhich are also part of the team's responsibilitiesoffer you a broad and exciting field of work with state-of-the-art network technologies and excellent development potential.

Technical Requirements

• Completed technical apprenticeship and/or degree in computer science or a related field
• At least 5 years of experience in the telecommunications sector
• Fortinet certifications at FCP level
• Solid experience with security products (Cisco, Fortinet)
• Experience in routing and switching (Cisco)
• Excellent German and English skills
