Security Engineer (m/f) 100% - German speaking


For one of our clients in Zurich we are looking for a Security Engineer.

Start: ASAP

Location: Zurich – Full time onsite.

Permanent


In this diverse role, you will work together with the team to take responsibility for the engineering, implementation, operation, support, and maintenance of new IT security solutions, as well as for the optimisation and upkeep of the existing security infrastructure (firewalls).

You will analyse and resolve incidents in high-availability ISP and cloud environments.

In addition, the planning and implementation of network and service expansions in the areas of IP, MPLS, and switching backbone, LAN/WAN, and networkingwhich are also part of the team's responsibilitiesoffer you a broad and exciting field of work with state-of-the-art network technologies and excellent development potential.


Technical Requirements

  • Completed technical apprenticeship and/or degree in computer science or a related field
  • At least 5 years of experience in the telecommunications sector
  • Fortinet certifications at FCP level
  • Solid experience with security products (Cisco, Fortinet)
  • Experience in routing and switching (Cisco)
  • Excellent German and English skills

Start: 02.04.2026 End: 30.11.2026 Location: remote / Zurich  DevOps Engineers independently implement simple backlog items or items related to their area of specialization with minimal guidance. They collaborate with the Product Owner to create and refine backlog items, estimate them as a team, and plan work for upcoming iterations. They ensure built-in quality and security in their solutions by designing, implementing, configuring, and refactoring software. Their responsibilities also include designing, implementing, and executing tests; building and maintaining automation frameworks; integrating software according to the chosen deployment concept; and developing and maintaining monitoring solutions.
