For one of our customers in Bern, we are looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer Nextcloud.

Start: 01.04.2026

End: 30.06.2026 – Extension very likely

Location: Bern, 2 times a week on site

PSP is an advantage or you have to have been resident in Switzerland for at least 5 years

Tasks:

Setup and operation of the customer NextCloud infrastructure

Development and maintenance of automated deployment pipelines (CI/CD)

Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Ansible)

Experience:

Degree in computer science or comparable qualification
At least 4 years of professional experience in the cloud / DevOps environment
Hands-on experience with Nextcloud installation/integration
Bonus:
Kubernetes, Containers & Microservices
Infrastructure as Code (Terraform oder CloudFormation)
Linux Administration, Networks, Security
Scripting languages (Bash, Python, Go)
Experience with CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, GitLab CI)
Enjoyment of automation, documentation and teamwork

This role is ideal for a hands-on network professional who thrives in complex, large-scale environments and enjoys delivering high-quality infrastructure solutions to customers. You will design, implement, and maintain robust campus LAN environments not just for small offices, but for entire buildings, multi-site campuses, and even municipality-scale infrastructures. If you are passionate about Cisco technologies, wireless networking, and security and enjoy working closely with customers this could be your next career move. What You Will Work On This role goes far beyond supporting small office networks.
