PRODUCT - PROJECT ENGINEER
We are seeking a Product Systems Engineer to join the R&D team. In this pivotal role, you (M/F) will be the technical lead responsible for the end-to-end coherence of our connected products. You will oversee the integration of mechanics, hardware, firmware, and edge algorithms, ensuring that complex systems operate seamlessly from initial concept through to life-cycle support. You are a systems-thinking expert who enjoys bridging the gap between different engineering disciplines. You are as comfortable defining high-level strategy as you are being "hands-on" with critical technical tasks to ensure project success. Skills required: Experience and Qualifications: - Bachelor's or Master's degree in Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field - Minimum 5 years of proven experience in technical development, including experience leading or coordinating technical activities across multidisciplinary teams - Proficiency in systems architecture, integration, and validation. Knowledge of engineering tools and software - Strong system planning, organizational, and problem-solving skills, with a proven ability to technically lead and align multidisciplinary teams in complex development contexts - Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with experience presenting technical information to diverse audiences Personal Attributes: - Strong Leadership and Influence. Feasibility studies - The role includes preliminary feasibility assessments providing information to the business, allowing an informed decision on challenges and effectiveness of a project based on high level information supporting prioritizations across multiple projects 3. Systems Design and Architecture (Define and maintain system architectures, managing technical trade-offs and interfaces to ensure consistent performance throughout development and industrialization) - Lead the design, integration, and testing of complex systems, ensuring they meet all technical and regulatory requirements - Develop system architectures, validate design solutions, and ensure scalability, reliability, and performance 4. Technical leadership and influence (Provide cross-functional guidance to multidisciplinary teams, translating product intent into clear technical plans, integration constraints, and verification criteria) - Provide technical leadership across multidisciplinary teams through mentoring, design reviews, and system‑level guidance - Influence technical direction, integration decisions, and engineering best practices without direct line management responsibility - Lead technical decision-making and issue triage after product release, assessing the system-wide impact of any necessary changes or fixes 5. Technology Transfer In dieser Rolle unterstützen Sie die Einführung neuer Produkte und tragen zur Weiterentwicklung der Tech-Transfer-Strategie am Standort bei. Sie arbeiten eng mit verschiedenen Teams zusammen, fördern digitale Lösungen und begleiten technische sowie organisatorische Veränderungen.
