The Manufacturing Science & Technology Team (MSAT) is working in an agile Framework. We are shaping and continuously improving the manufacturing of highly integrated sensors and cartridges (S&C). Tasks & Responsibilities - Taking responsibility for regular product care activities within the Squad. ​ Role and Context We are looking for an International Roaming Expert with solid, multi-year experience gained preferably within a mobile network operator (MNO). The role is responsible for the end-to-end management of the international roaming business: relationships with other operators and international connectivity providers, negotiation and management of agreements, regulatory compliance, and oversight of the supporting technical aspects (Network and IT) required to deliver and evolve the roaming service.   ​ Key Experience - Manage and develop relationships with international roaming partner operators, owning the full lifecycle of the agreements. - Negotiate, draft and maintain roaming agreements (AA.12 / RAEX, IOT ? Inter-Operator Tariff, discount agreements) and manage the related signing and update process. - Manage the relationship with international connectivity and signaling providers (IPX/GRX carriers, roaming hubs, SS7/Diameter signaling providers), including selection, contracting and SLA monitoring. - Coordinate the opening of new roaming relationships and testing (IREG for the technical voice/data part, TADIG for the billing and data-exchange part). - Oversee the exchange of files and documentation between operators: TAP/RAP (Transferred/Returned Account Procedure), NRTRDE (Near Real Time Roaming Data Exchange), RAEX (IR.21, IR.85, IOT), and the related clearing and reconciliation processes. - Ensure compliance with applicable regulations and standards (e.g. GSMA, EU roaming regulation ?Roam Like At Home?, and any local regulation), overseeing regulatory impacts on the business. - Manage the relationship with data and financial clearing houses and hub providers, monitoring billing, disputes and reconciliations. - Analyze roaming performance (traffic, quality, revenue, cost, margin) and define optimization strategies for tariffs, steering of roaming and fraud management. - Interface with internal functions (Network, IT/BSS, Finance, Legal, Wholesale, Marketing) to ensure delivery and evolution of the service. Required Skills and Experience - Multi-year experience in a roaming / wholesale roaming role within a mobile operator (or at a hub/IPX provider), with proven direct management of relationships with international operators and carriers. - In-depth knowledge of the international roaming business: commercial models, value chain, tariff mechanisms (IOT, wholesale), steering, settlement and clearing. - Thorough knowledge of GSMA standards and procedures: RAEX/IR.21, AA.12, TAP/RAP, NRTRDE, BCE, IREG and TADIG processes. - Knowledge of the international and European regulatory framework for roaming. - Solid understanding of the Network and IT aspects supporting roaming: 2G/3G/4G/5G architectures, network elements involved (HLR/HSS, UDM, MSC, SGSN/GGSN, MME, S/PGW, UPF, SMF, DRA, STP), SS7/SIGTRAN and Diameter signaling, IPX/GRX networks, SMS interworking, VoLTE roaming (S8HR/LBO) and 5G roaming (SEPP). - Knowledge of the supporting BSS/OSS systems (mediation, rating/charging, wholesale billing, clearing systems, TAP processing, fraud management, steering systems). - Negotiation skills and experience managing contracts and relationships with international counterparts. - Strong analytical, problem-solving and cross-functional coordination skills. - Fluent English (written and spoken) and at least some Italian knowledge is mandatory.
